Opis przedmiotu zamówienia

Houseboat is a floating house, mostly moored in one place with the possibility of moving on canals, rivers or lakes. Houseboats produced in Poland are prepared for whole year, equipped with heating, air conditioning, kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Floating houseboat can be driven by outboard engine - the best configuration is 2 outboard engines + bow thruster.

Can you buy a floating house? Yes, it just needs a lot of love, knowledge, will and dedication. It is a story about how our life can take on a new shape and with it a new youth.

The story of our production begins with the building of boats for our own needs. The builders are a dedicated company, where in the shade of pines, with interesting views of residents and passers-by, the design of floating platforms begins. Construction takes place according to the obtained rib templates and the design of basic construction elements. After the construction is completed, the boat leaves the shipyard and remains with water in the immediate vicinity. At that time, ports were built in Poland and the boat built there will spend all these years, until today.

Then the hull was reinforced and soon afterwards the living quarters were updated. Fortunately, this story did not resemble other stories about neglected wooden boats waiting to be rebuilt, because the houseboat from our history always had an owner who could take care of it.

Informacje uzupełniające

Due to the lack of preparation of ports and canals, the residential boat industry has not developed completely. It is now difficult to determine how much neglect of water infrastructure development has slowed down and paralysed the small shipbuilding and maritime industries. It is difficult to estimate how much has been lost, because many potential owners could not establish a relationship in any way; as a result, they did not buy the boats, the producers lost the market, equipment sales fell, the houseboat maintenance industry. Today, we can only imagine what it would have been like if, over the last twenty years, more serious work had been done on developing the coastline, ports, docks.

The Polish shipbuilding industry has emerged from the deadlock. Many local authorities have signed contracts which mainly aim to rehabilitate and, in a few cases, to expand ports open to public transport. These are district, municipal and private ports. Although the authorities describe these projects as a kind of 'renaissance' in fact, on closer inspection it is a matter of regularly maintaining existing capacities, here and there, only upgrading, but only to adapt existing ones to new times and new ships. Much of Europe's ports, moorings and other coastal port infrastructure, and perhaps even most of it, were built decades ago. So European customers have more opportunities to enjoy life on water.

Standard version of houseboat doesn't include outboard engines and equipment as sauna or jacuzzi. Furniture, kitchen and bathroom is in standard order.
